About Us Burghead Sub- Aqua Club( BURGSAC) has a membership which covers the Moray area in the North of Scotland. The club was formed just over ten years ago to enable people to experience and enjoy the underwater world. BURGSAC has on ongoing training programme enabling divers to progress from basic diving skills learnt in Elgin swimming pool, to Ocean diver, Sports Diver , Dive leader and beyond. Also if so desired, then gaining instructor qualifications to again help people wanting to try out this fascinating sport. Apart from training, club members enjoy dives  in the Moray Firth using the clubs own RIB or out on  MV "Top Cat" based at Lossiemouth, owned and operated by club member Bill Ruck , who also runs Moray Diving Ltd, This is a dive boat charter business which allows other divers from throughout Scotland and Britain to experience the variety of underwater wrecks and scenic dives  that are found in the Moray Firth. The club also goes on regular  "Expeds" to other parts of Scotland , either taking the club rib or chartering a local dive boat, to the West Coast of Scotland and the Northern Isles. Club members also participate in dives abroad either as part of their own holiday or organised club expeditions.   Apart from the diving, club members enjoy an active social life with an  "entertainments officer" on the committee responsible for thinking up new and novel social events!
